Love the concept - but I think you miss one important reason to use Rubber Duck method - expediency. If you have to wait for a team member to be available this could be a big blocker. It very simply to talk to a duck (or your spouse or kid) and just suss it out as if you are talking to someone who has no understanding. This will lead you to the correct answer most of the time without waiting for (or sometimes wasting the time of) team members.
